Five years and one day ago...

My niece was born. I can hardly believe how fast the last 5 years have gone by and how much things have changed. I've had 6 different jobs, bought a house, got a dog, moved to California (and back) and became a licensed Architect all in the same amount of time Caitlyn learned to roll over, sit up, crawl, talk, walk, feed and dress herself, count, say her ABCs, and so many more incredible things. I remember when my sister was pregnant, I remember decorating Cait's first room. I was there for her first bath. She can count to 4 in Spanish and we're working on it in German too.
